Caprese Burger

This twist on a classic Italian salad piles on mozzarella, basil and fresh tomatoes with a splash of balsamic vinegar and a dash of salt!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2-3 tablespoons Wicked Juicy Burger Beef - Garlic
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 container of mozzarella cheese
  • basil
  • a splash of balsamic vinegar
  • 4 hamburger buns

 

Directions

Combine meat, Wicked Juicy Burger Beef - Garlic, and pepper in a large bowl. Lightly mix with your hands or a spatula until well blended. Divide meat into four equal portions and gently form each into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. (Do not compact the patties or handle them more than necessary.)

Pan fry patties in vegetable oil over medium-high heat, or grill or broil them to your preferred doneness. Serve on buns with sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and basil. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and add a dash of salt.
