BBQ Turkey Burger

Barbecue sauce adds a great smoky flavor to these tasty BBQ turkey burgers. Serve them with your favorite coleslaw and potato chips.


  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons Wicked Juicy Burger Turkey
  • ¼ cup prepared barbecue sauce, divided
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika, optional
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (if frying)
  • 4 hamburger buns

For garnish: sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, lettuce leaves


Combine turkey, Wicked Juicy Burger Turkey, 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce, smoked paprika (if using) and pepper in a large bowl. Lightly mix with your hands or a spatula until well blended. Divide meat into four equal portions and gently form each into a patty, about ¾ inch thick. (Do not compact the patties or handle them more than necessary.)

Pan fry patties in the vegetable oil over medium-high heat, or grill or broil them to your preferred doneness. Just before they’re done, brush burgers with the remaining barbecue sauce and cook another minute or two. Serve BBQ turkey burgers on buns, with lettuce, onion and tomato.
